Reid Wilson - Sculptor
I was first introduced to stone carving in 2000 and from that day
my passion for sculpture and art has grown and become a huge part
of my life . I am self tort sculptor and have worked as a full time
artist since 2004 .Over the years I have been carving I have sent
my works all throughout New Zealand and around the world .
The designs process is something that I really enjoy , having the
freedom to create my own ideas is the part of sculpture I love,
bringing the stone to life . The finish on my work is something I
take a great deal of time on, this creates a physical bond with the
stone ,many of my carvings are flowing organic forms which I have
designed to be felt..
